POLYCET is an entrance test for 10th class completed students who wants to become an engineer. Polytechnic is best way to become good engineer,polytechnic studed engineers are getting good opportunities in jobs also.
What is Polytechnic?
This POLYCET (Polytechnic common entrance test ) will be conducted by State Board of Technical Education and Training in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Polytechnic is a 3 & 3 1/2 years deploma programs of engineering and non engineering conducted by Government, private,aided and non aided colleges.
In polytechnic there are 36 engineering and non engineering Diploma Course like
Civil Engineering,Automobile engineering, mechanical engineering, ECE (Electrical and electronics engineering),Garment technology, chemical engineering,computer engineering……etc.
In this polytechnic some courses are 3 years and some courses are 3 1/2 years.
Some are in only AP,some are in only Telangana and some courses are in both AP and TS.
Eligibility:
All students who passes SSC and equivalent by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P / TS,such as Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE), Indian Council for Secondary Education(ICSE), National Institute of Open School (NIOS), A.P. Open School Society (APOSS), with minimum 35% of Marks with mathematics as one of the subject.
There are approximately 332 colleges in Andhra Pradesh in all the districts,in that there are 98 are government colleges.All colleges may not to be contain all deploma programs and there are limited seats 30 or 60 ….like that.

For the convenience of the candidate ONLINE filling of application for POLYCET 2020 is facilitated by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, A.P and Telangana. candidates can visit nearest help line center’s arranged by the state governments.There are 98 helpline centers including all districts of Andhra Pradesh.

PATTERN AND SYLLABUS FOR POLYCET
The exam will be for 120 Marks of 120 questions,the question paper contains
Mathematics = 60 questions (60 Marks )
Physics = 30 questions (30 Marks )
Chemistry = 30 questions (30 Marks )
Syllabus is X class Maths,physics, chemistry
Every Candidate appearing for POLYCET-2020 shall be provided with a specially designed Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Response Sheet (Answer Sheet), on which the candidate shall have to mark his or her answers
